The Cantina MaCrì is in Calamandrana, at the heart of Monferrato. The basement, historical building, dates back to 1866. The cellar carried out the wine with the same commitment as in the past, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of its products.
Maturing in barrels, situated in the historic cellars, takes place at a controlled temperature and gives the wine unique aromas and scents.Next to the secular building lies the modern part of the winery, where the different stages of grape processing take place, from crushing to bottling.
"MaCrì" is the name chosen by Massimo and María Cristina, who started this adventure after having acquired various experiences. After studying ecology, Massimo has worked with passion and dedication. Maria Cristina became interested in wine through her grandfather Pietro, who, in the 1960s, produced wine from grapes harvested in the "Garbazzola" vineyards.
Today, the daughter of Massimo and Maria Cristina, Federica Corti, also works with the cellar, making sure to book guided tours, management and host groups.
