Cascina Lana is a winery in Nizza Monferrato established in 1937 by Davide Baldizzone, who began making wine from 4 hectares. Over the years he bought all the vineyards adjacent to his own up to the current 20 ha. In 1981 the management passed to his son Nino and his wife Graziana.
Year after year, their passion for quality and for Barbera wine encouraged them to do better and better. The main production is for Barbera: still, rosé, lively, chinata, Superiore and its highest expression, the Nizza Docg. Also, the range includes red wines such as Dolcetto and Grignolino, and white wines such as Cortese, Chardonnay and Moscato dAsti. Annual production is 80,000 bottles/year.
