I did not always own land, but I have always loved it. I got there by choice, at the peak of my professional career, because I felt very strongly that I needed to re-establish a slow connection with nature: hands dirty with soil, the smell of grass, the very ancient peasant culture. Furthermore, I decided to start from the basics, from observation. Together with a few trusted collaborators, we decided to embark on this path, which turned out to be a human one rather than a professional one.

Day after day, careful observation of the cycle of nature allows us to study the way in which the land, season after season, transforms itself and then regenerates and transforms again. Our task is to identify the appropriate time to intervene, to distinguish the past from the past and to determine the identity of time. The symbols that make up our logo represent exactly this concept. Respect and passion for the land have led us to adopt an organic model, attentive to environmental sustainability, and to cultivate two great native grape varieties of Piedmont, Timorasso and Barbera, from which we produce only two wines, a white and a red, Derthona and Nizza. The major value of our project is key.We follow no mode, our aim is to bring in the bottle what we observe in our territory. We follow a production philosophy of subtraction: we limit any intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar to a minimum in order to tell the reality as it appears to us, without any forcing, and to make our wines as unique as the conditions that brought them into being.
