Vinicola Arno was started by Mara and Michael Arno in 2017. They decided to return to their Italian and Portuguese roots with a strong desire to produce exceptional wines. Six years later, they have built a strong viticultural program and are now producing a variety of outstanding wines. The land has been producing wine grapes for over 200 years. They invested in the vineyards with a strong core focus on the specialty Nizza DOCG Barbera production, and have a strong commitment to environmentally sustainable practices. Vinicola Arno wines have received high recognition from several international wine publications, including recent awards: Decanter World Wine Awards 2020, 2021,2022 and recently 2023; IWC 2020, 2021; silver medal at the Concours Mondial Bruxelles in 2021; a three ratings in Gambero Rosso Vini d'Italia 2022 including 2 Bicchieri for the 2019 Nizza DOCG Lorella and Desolina 2020 Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2020; 4 Golds and a silver medals at the America Wine Awards 2022, in May 20 2022 and four medals at Decanter 2022, and 2023; Vinum and Falstaff awards for Nizza DOCG Lorella 2018 in Zurich. In January 2023 FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti) adventure is starting and we are focused on improving our identity and quality performance on products.
