Founded in 1892, Coppo’s history is deeply intertwined with that of Canelli and its winemaking community. Since the 1980s, a strong commitment to developing Barbera and Chardonnay has led to international acclaim, with iconic labels such as Pomorosso and Monteriolo. In 2014, Coppo’s cellars were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their “Underground Cathedrals.” In 2021, the winery was acquired by the Lanci-Soldadino family, who initiated major structural investments and new vineyard acquisitions.
