A certified organic winery with vineyards in Monferrato and the Langhe, located in Agliano Terme, Castagnole Monferrato, and Castiglione Tinella. We produce Barbera d’Asti, Barbera Superiore, Nizza, Grignolino d’Asti, Monferrato Nebbiolo, Manzoni Bianco, Pinot Nero, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, and Moscato d’Asti.

VINEYARD SIZE: 2.5 ha – including 1 ha of Vigna Dacapo, 1 ha of Nizza, plus an additional 4,000 m² planted in May 2024, not yet in production.

IN THE VINEYARD

The estate is organically farmed. Green manure is sown when autumn weather conditions allow. Yield is limited through green pruning and cluster thinning in August. Shoots are managed by canopy rolling to improve vine balance and health. Soil health is carefully maintained through mechanical tillage and cover cropping

CERTIFIED PRODUCTION PHILOSOPHY:

The estate has been certified organic since 2019 – both in the vineyard and the winery itself

VINIFICATION

Gentle crushing and destemming, followed by long maceration on the skins with temperature control. Fermentation occurs in 55-hL untoasted French oak vats

AGEING

Aged in 25-hL large French oak casks – 12 months for Nizza and 24 months for Nizza Riserva
