Torchio 1953 is a family story – one of deep passion and hard work. It all began with grandfather Rinaldo and continues today with his grandson Andrea, who welcomes guests with open arms and full glasses at the family’s historic estate in the heart of Monferrato Astigiano.

Manual pruning and thinning; conventional phytosanitary treatments applied by hand; manual harvest in 20 kg crates

VINIFICATION

Skin maceration in steel vats with repeated pump-overs and aeration until complete sugar-to-alcohol conversion. Followed by racking and aging on fine lees to promote malolactic fermentation

AGEING

Minimum 12 months in wood (including tonneaux), 18 months in oak casks, and 12 months in bottle
